Video Conferencing technology is no  longer restricted to the boardrooms of major multi-nationals or sprawling government departments, its beginning to take a much higher profile amongst smaller to medium sized organisations for a number of very good reasons.

• Complementary technologies like Broadband, VOIP, Collaborative Software and Unified Comms have become more widespread and pricing points have eased dramatically. 
• The Global Financial Crisis (GFC) and raising fuel costs has had a catastrophic effect on travel budgets. 
• Green IT is to some extent shaping the direction of technology, organisations are looking for greener ways to communicate with their customers and staff and ultimately ensure their products and services are delivered with the same commitment.
• Staff’s work-life balance needs to be factored in. Expensive unnecessary trips can be eliminated with work from home policies or access to a community based serviced office facility.
• Entertaining the next generation of workers in the office. Video technology is common place in our homes amongst the younger generation. There will be an expectation that it will be part of the communication process in the work environment too.
