About the Role

As the Service Delivery Manager, you are responsible for the management of the Services Team including the Service Desk, Engineering team and the oversight of Managed Services for our clients.

This position is a member of the leadership team

Key Responsibilities

  • Services Team supervision and coordination to task driven outcomes as aligned with Comunet standards, strategy and values;
  • Roster management to business and client outcomes;
  • Team management including talent management, performance reviews, training and development.
  • Process and policy development and management for key processes;
  • Develop and maintain positive relationships with clients.
  • Ensure effective completion of all scheduled managed services client checks and processes by team
  • Manage and maintain the Solarwinds – N-Able management system is maintained and managed ensuring the monitoring and management system operates in the most efficient way possible.
  • Work with the project and consulting team to assist with project delivery and take responsibility for work being performed by the services team, reporting these back to the Project Manager.
  • Understand the client's business and IT environments so opportunities can be identified and followed through.
  • Incident investigation and reporting
  • Internal systems auditing.
  • Assisting to build and manage budgets for service desk and engineering teams.
  • Records management.
  • Assist with developing scopes, proposals and quotes as requested.

Skills and Experience

  • 10+ years experience working within an IT service environment
  • Team management responsibilities in an IT environment (8 or more staff)
  • Good knowledge and understanding of end user requirements
  • Broad experience managing and supporting IT environments
  • Exposure and hands on experience to Backup and Disaster Recovery Systems
  • Ability to gather relevant information systematically to troubleshoot and resolve issues
  • Excellent relationship building skills, with both internal and external stakeholders
  • Excellent ability to manage team in conflicting workload environment and prioritisation of tasks
  • Experience working in project teams and taking ownership of technical work
